I have been trying to find a way to make a video where the cover of the album is the only thing showing the entire video and the only thing you hear is the song, but can't find a tutorial anywhere. I'm sure you know what i am talking about there all over youtube.

Can anyone help me out on this? By the way I am using Avidemux to edit all my videos so if you could point me to a tutorial involving avidemux, all the better. :)

steps :
- save the album cover on your computer as an image (for instance jpg with paint)
- open windows movie maker
- import the album cover
- import the music
- put the music on the bar (at the bottom of the program where it says Music)
- put the album cover on the bar (where it says video)
- extend the album cover duration to the length of the music
- save as video

done.

Nope it does not stop there. You then convert it to some other file to make it more compressed with the image and the music. Then you upload it. Bow...:yumyum:

you don't need to compress it if you have a fast internet, .wmv is already small enough (a 6min in full HD takes only 400mb - YouTube recompresses it to .mp4 ~180mb)

Anyway from what they say in YouTube help you should minimize the amount of video saves so the best quality remains. For only a music and a cover, the file size is so low that you don't have to compress it as it will be already very compressed unless you make the cover a big full HD picture but that's another story.

when it gets shut down for copyright claims, update thread. just sayin

because many pitched songs get caught, pitch - no more panacea
