Making a living doing the wordpress method

Hello BHW. I've been feeling a bit discouraged lately and I feel like it would be hard to sell WP sites. Is anyone here still doing good charging companies money for a WP site? So far I've only gotten one client and landing just that one was hard. I've tried advertising through CL and didn't land anything neither. I have a friend who makes a living selling cakes full time! And I can't make a living selling WP sites, it feels kind of bad. Is selling WP sites still doable?

As long as you offer a quality service,have a nice portofolio and propper marketing strategy,there shouldn't be any problem landing clients.
