So I run this WordPress blog that I started this last summer (about 4 months ago). I feel like I have a nice niche going in the Automotive world.

My RPM for the last couple of weeks is averaging about $10, and I am making about $10/day now average. Some days $15, and a few days $20 in a day.

When I started out, I gave myself a series of goals with no timeline - but the end goal is to be making $2,500 a day (there are several automotive blogs making much more than this).

My main question is this. Should I stick with AdSense? At what point do I start looking at alternative ways to make money?

I'm a Web Designer/Developer, but I don't know very much about all the different advertising/money generating systems. All I really know is a little about AdSense, and I know its easy to plug in and get working.

But I look at some other major sites, like AutoBlog, for example - and it doesn't even look like they run AdSense.

Also, I have no product to sell - just auto (fast car) articles.

I also just installed a Facebook lightbox 'like' popup on my site, have added 25+ likes just today

Thoughts? Any help would be appreciated.

I am in the same boat as you right now, averaging around 15-20 bucks a day on Adsense.Everybody tells me to not rely on adsense as the only source of income.Try signing up for a CPA company like Maxbounty or something along those lines.
