Making a diet site | Could use a little input/help

First a little back story. . . I have made about $0.74 on IM so far.

So I gave it a little break and did what I like to do, I built a website.

This is a full on site for a diet product

Lets say its called

thisdietteam.com (not the real name)

I have also made
facebook.com/thisdietteam
twitter.com/thisdietteam
youtube.com/thisdietteam


The site is a full site with about 20 pages or so, built on WP so it has the blog and a forum for people to post to.

I have also done some basic kw research and am going to try to rank for a few things that should be easy, I look at it this way.
I can rank for a few keywords that are only searched 300 a month easy to get traffic coming in and then try to rank for the harder ones.

I did a blog post yesterday and well the phrase in long it is searched about 200 times a month and it is on page 2 of google in less than 24 hrs.


I know to make this site good and make money I need a product, this is where the first question comes in.

Should I use CB or go around to health stores and see if I can sale their product on my site??

The next problem I know I am going to have is getting people to join the forum and keeping it alive, so any input on that would be super. . .

Next, would this site be worth anything just as it is now? Or do I have to make the site make money before flipping it?

I guess that might come down to how good of a product I built the site around?

Im thinking about making a diet/ bodybuilding site myself... I would use a combo of cb and health products .. this allows for more choices and will cater to more people .. kinda like an online store ... Maybe we can jv and make some cash...

That would be cool, we would have to start a all new site.

Every part of this site has been based around one product. I know Im cutting it short by doing that but Im hopping that it will make a little cash and maybe fund other ideas.
