I have been using word press templates for my customers websites.
Needing more control over updates, menu, add-ons and more,
with a developer plan to create a custom theme.

Please provide good ideas of what features, and SEO strategies are a must in a word press site.
Any tips or ideas will be used.

Thank for any replies and help

Use a framework/blueprint theme and build a custom theme on top of that if you want high quality.
