making a classified website

Hi guys. I'am basically a total newbie on html and i'd like to make a classified website. Is this realistic?
Are there websites already made that i can use, i guess they're called templates. Are there templates of this? I'd like the website to be user friendly where you can search for different regions and all that cool stuff.

Make a shortlist of the ones you like then see if anybody has recommendations.

I don't want to put a dampener on this straight away, but you're asking if you have the personal ability to do something, without looking into it first.

So to answer your question, I don't know, can you? Given you've mentioned HTML, but not PHP/.NET/JS then I would say no.

Take a look at Wordpress and host it on your own server, there are hundreds of templates doing what you want.

wow so cool. Now google only a needs a feature that makes the website for me!
Joking. Thks i guess i should have searched better. From the first one it seems these templates are already quite good. Do they work well or they need still need a lot of work to come into a website?
