Making a choice: FaceDominator or MassPlanner - How important is platform diversification?

Hey guys, I'm new to IM and have been looking around and the opinion seems pretty split on FD and MP. I myself only plan on using facebook at the moment and the higher monthly rate for FaceDominator right now suits me more than paying the upgrade cost on MassPlanner, but it's not really an issue.

So this is where I come to a crossroads, I haven't really dabbled in other platforms on a personal level because I became bored of social media quite some time ago so I don't have an idea of how important they actually are. If I ever decided to utilise more platforms it would obviously be far easier if I started with a MassPlanner account because it's built for that and not centered solely on facebook, but is that an inevitability? Facebook has seemed to be dropping off as The Only Site for a while, but when I get to a stage where I would be better off diversifying, would that time be better spent focusing on other social media sites or going in a completely different direction?

I know there is no absolute answer on this, but I'd love some of your informed opinions.

If it helps I plan on making money through Amazon affiliate programs and clickbait advertising, later moving onto being an affiliate for eBay auctions.

UPDATE: Been doing some due dilly and came to my conclusions, thought I would share them in case someone else has the same question and is waiting for a reply or stumbles upon this at a later date through google or forum search.

Massplanner is cheaper but you have to fork out more cash for the unlimited license, this is fine as the one time loss of $70 is covered within three months of subscription fees (MP currently being $4 and FD being $29, IIRC).

The crux of the matter for me was one question I posed to each team: Does the software allow me to group my accounts and give actions based on these groups? Facedominator doesn't have this feature but offered to have it implemented, while MP already does. After asking around further I found out some users had requested features implemented within a week. I sent off an email to the team with a bunch more questions than I asked FD to get my emails worth (as FD do have live chat, but it's in India). The first guy on the live chat was really helpful and spoke good English, but the second guy was struggling and if I hadn't reiterated my question then he would have left me thinking they did actually allow account grouping.

Although MP only had the group feature I asked of they forwarded on all my other questions as suggestions, I imagine so they can take a look and hopefully implement some of them. Won't post them now in case they don't make it in.

I haven't tried MP but I will and i'll share my thoughts here. It looks a bit better than Facedominator, which I used for 1 or 2 years. The support is average and there are some FD support guys who are helpful, but that India time is annoying. I also hated the fact that they changed every couple of hours and I couldn't reach the guy I wanted. I should give them a thumbs up for implementing a couple of features that I asked.
