Making $3000/Day with 100K

Rename this thread "The Twix Method" please

Exactly my point! You got it!
Just middleman transactions!
But which industries and products is the million dollar question!

I should have it :) as I've run my own businesses since 1991.

We have a product where we have the sole European selling rights. It's all about finding a nich product, and being able to negotiate a deal.

Nobody though is going to tell you where to find these niches / products though - unless they're wanting a JV with you.

In the UK they have the tv show Dragons Den ( USA it's called Shark Tank ) worth watching just to see the investors doing the pricing valuations and negotiating the deals.

How can I get in touch with people who distribute to liquor stores anyone know?

In the UK cash and carry like Booker and Palmer and Harvey. Although I'm sure you would need a VAT registered business to use them.

100k making 3% per day consistently? That’s gotta be pretty close to impossible, solely for the reason that even a slight mixup with a bank wire, customer dispute... etc... can throw a huge wrench in the works. Now 3k per day with 1 mil, that’s a ton easier, but in a business where keeping the cash moving smoothly is crucial, more wiggle room is better.

I prefer a method like a service/educational course in the right industry. Someone with the right background in the day trading/investment niche can easily market an in-depth high level course for 3k, charge 300$/hour consulting/coaching fees, and with the proper marketing strategy, easily be making 3k in a day. However to get to that point I’d say the individual would need to have beaten the market for 10 or so years consistently, and take roughly half a year building the course.

Where you going to keep £250,000 worth of Twixs? Are you failing to weigh up storage and delivery costs, plus labour?

But I want to flip items. Not charge for a service.

Basically all you're doing is box shifting.
It works fine until a bigger player with deeper pockets comes along and gets better buying prices, thus can undercut you.

Do some legwork, Dude.

Find distributors that meet your needs and utilize their network.

Alternatively go on Shark Tank and make deal with Mr Wonderful and have him put you in front of those kinds of entities.

Great Idea, let's Make it ..

ooh , i don't have 100K to invest ..

But still Good idea

To raise $100k, formalize a persuasive plan, then use Kickstarter to get it funded. Or go more traditional and seek out up to 100 angel investors who can put in $1000 or more each into the project, etc, etc. Ask some entrepreneurs who've done it, there are ways to get the start-up capital if the plan and people involved are compelling enough.

If it's any consolation you're smart for thinking about this. Your beginning logic didn't meet the end logic and that's where these other posts have gotten confused. In reality there are many single moms out there working part-time, selling even .. shoes, on ebay. Funny I used shoes in an example myself earlier.. And maybe stripping part time, or doing cam-shows for that sweet sweet dollar. Monopolizing many markets is the way to win. Edit: Can anyone top me on what the CPC for a market share is worth? Not to take over this thread but so far I'm convinced Legal practices, Lawyers, have the highest CPC for any set of keywords on an average. They make a lot of money. This is an industry if you know SEO and marketing, to capitalize.

Yeah yeah but all that takes time. Everything your saying is all service based.

I'm trying to make capital work for me, not me work for capital. It's what China does, it's why there rich.

This is leg work :)

You need ideas, this is complicated stuff. This isn't easy otherwise everyone would be rich.

Ok, this really is such a dream world scenario, not really seeing where you say there is value?

Let me save you time posting anything else, here is the magic super secret formula are you ready? Buy low , sell ? you guessed it high .... Ok now were is my commission?

I mean just buy cars at auction for $100k a day, sell for $125k ... now you even made $25k and percent in a day, so lease send me my cut ....

Or wait how about we buy the candy packs wholesale, than sell them individually (who care it just says not intended for individual resale) at a school. Pay some kids $25 a day hire them in multiple schools, ref commission. Give them a credit line....

/sarcasm off.

Come on, hypothetical scenarios are really just that...

I'm just going to chime in for the talk on distributing to liquor stores and from my experience in that industry it's a big F. Keep in mind this is my experience in the US.

1. It's high competition with established players who really will do there best to screw you.

2. You want a large sales force. Anytime I was with a store manager you would typically have 3-4 guys representing distributors trying to contact that manager or just walking straight through the door and pitching their brand new shit wine.

3. Cash flow can be a major issue for new players, especially in an industry that has net30 payments. Compound that with the fact competition has encouraged buyback policies, meaning even once you "sell" that 100k worth of liquor to a store if it doesn't leave the shelves you are expected to buy it back leaving you on the hook for thousands every time.

4. REGULATIONS, REGULATIONS, REGULATIONS..... They will kill you.

I could list a hundred more reasons but those are the first that come to mind. Not trying to kill the alcohol distributing idea, just saying that it's a rough game and I don't recommend it unless you really know what you are getting into and have some serious $$$. To be honest, if I was going to get back in the alcohol industry I would just open 10 wine and liquor stores. It requires a lot of capital, but as long as you have good locations you will make some serious cash with virtually no marketing needed.
