Now, i will share with you a very good business niche that could make you $100s/week.
As my title says its about the forwarded numbers business and i will describe below a little something about this business.
Having a business or even for personal use we need more and cheaper phone numbers given the world we live in. We cannot carry 10-20 phones with us or have 10-20 sims to use it with one or 2 phones lets say. So, the solution is to buy online phone numbers we forwarded them to one single phone number.
Almost a year ago i needed like 20 lines/numbers for my businesses because my 3 personal and business numbers was not enough, so, i started and researched and researched to find someone that was selling cheap and reliable US forwarded numbers.
Took me some time to find someone to trust him enough, so, i bought some cheap forwarded numbers, the guy forwarded them to the 3 personal and business numbers that i already had and as it was a success i kept renewing them (keep in mind that i did not spam any kind of site(s))
Very soon an idea started to raise in my mind and was growing everyday.
I thought to myself: why on Earth would i not sell numbers myself to people that need numbers? So, i put up a business in this niche and soon i started selling numbers and making money.
But, let me give you few hints:
- never sell numbers having in mind that people will buy numbers from you for spamming, start this business if you are against that
- you have to find a direct provider for your numbers, you would not want to resell this numbers on a third hand or something
- if you do not find a direct provider you better don't get in this business, else you will end up losing money because if you resell numbers from a non direct provider then the guy you buy from will probably end up without numbers very often, why?
--- because they make "deals" with some employee from a telephone company and soon the company will see that and shut it down and this will affect your business
- during my quest i tested numerous "providers", a lot of them are now out of business
- i had the luck to find a direct provider based on a contract and i am almost 100% that the business will continue to grow as i have been using this provider for few months now
- you have to be able to change the forward number from time to time for a small fee if your clients will ask that (this is the main number where a customer wants to have all numbers to be forwarded to), people do that if they have 2 numbers or more or have an employee or employees that will assign them to manage some businesses and change those employees between them, so, this is important
- another important thing would be customer service, you have to be online most of the time, do it yourself at the beginning and hire someone when the business grow
- do to not mix orders, use folders in your email for each new customer/order - this is very important, if you mix up orders you will lose money
- try to use various payments method and make sure you can handle them to say so
- make sure your turnaround time would be 3-5 days, if it happens to not accomplish that ask your customer if he wants a refund and do refund him if he wants that, but the best is to respect your turnaround time - this saves you money
- make sure your price is not higher than $7/number
- make sure your numbers are good, test, test and retest them yourself - else you will lose money
- make sure to have a refund policy and respect that entirely
- if you build up a site do not use black, red, yellow or orange as colors, use blue, gray, white, ice blue, try to ensure a nice feel for the customer
- build a good reputation online by respecting your word and your customer, see your customer as if its the most important asset of your business.
I am doing this business currently to say so and hope to come up with other hints, news and updates soon as i am learning everyday.
Research on forums for sellers, on google, yahoo, build a relation ship with them and finaly they will give you some info you need to get to the provider itself or info how they done it to get to such a direct provider and then make a business proposition to that provider - that's what i did.
Unfortunately, i cannot provide my provider's details here, but i hope that what i wrote above its more than nothing to get you inspired. Just research, research, research, finally money will come, you will see.
