I recently found what I thought was a nice website where I can guest post. It had nice metrics and home page had decent articles posted to it in HOME IMPROVEMENT niche. I almost bought a guest post but something just felt too good to be true because price was low and DR 71 with 1.7m backlinks. I've decided to dig deeper into their links and found a link to one of their posts about "Canadian pharmacy drugs". They are sending dirty links to this post on their website and their website has nothing to do with pharmacy or drugs. I recently saw on YT where one guy was building massive site and started buying backlinks. He bought one guest post from site with some dirty links and Google noticed it and punished him. He right away saw drop for his new site.
My advice before you buy any links do a lot of background research to make sure that domain is not being used for bad things. Websites might have public posts that look OK but have private posts that are not seen in their blog to public but they post very badly spun content that doesn't make any sense. Backlink from website like this can severely hurt new websites.
