Just a quick tip on something that I started using lately and has worked out pretty well so far. This is aimed more for those who do manual commenting, although it can easily be applied to improve results with auto-commenting, Scrapebox, etc. 1) Go to Google Blog Search blogsearch.google.com 2) Find a popular story related to your niche that you are familiar with via the top stories side bar to the left or via search if you know a lot of people are blogging about some subject at the moment. 3) If you found your story through the top stories links just hit "all # blogs" and if you searched, sort the results by date 4) Now you have a bunch of blog posts on essentially the same story so you can easily write one really good comment and then go through all of the blogs and either post your comment verbatim or change it up slightly for each site for uniqueness/better approval rate. It doesn't look spammy at all since your comment will be very relevant and it takes a lot less work than going to a bunch of blogs and trying to skim over posts to make a decent comment for a link. Again, this is probably more useful for those who prefer manual commenting, but you can easily apply the idea even if you use Scrapebox, etc. for higher approval rates. Just something simple that has been working well for me and I thought I'd share.
