Make My Travel Niche Website $$$ Profitable

I currently have a website in a Travel niche. I need someone to help me get my traffic up & implement some ads; I can also sell some merchandise on there so there are a lot of ways to make money on there.

I just want someone to help guide me to the right direction as far as making this website profitable. I am familiar with WordPress & some SEO, but an expert could definitely just give it to me straight & forward what needs to be done to start making money.
