I havn't seen this posted anywhere so I thought I would share my video.
No matter if you're doing SEO or running PPC having your own Ad Server is extermly helpful!
Why?
For SEO instead of just running Adsense ads you can run them through your ad server. The reason you would want to do this is, if you have a certain GEO that has a low RPM you can show ads from a totally different network.
For example:
US => Shows Adsense
IN => Has a flat rate banner
For PPC: Having your own ad server allows you to sell remenant inventory that you couldn't other wise monitize. It also allows you to setup direct buys by having publishers place your ad code on their site!
