I own WFH dot com which is an acroynym for "Work from Home" or
"Wealth from Home" and I haven't the slightest clue on what to do with it. It is a very well known term and is used often on twitter.

The domain is currently parked and I am not marketing or promoting anything.

I don't know whether I should do a blog, forum, affiliate program, home business opportunity or what would be the most profitable and it's really getting on my nerves.

Although I just signed up here and this is my first post I have browsed the forum for the past 6 months.

I greatly appreciate any help. Thank you kindly

Why not toss a porn site onto it? Whores From Hell, or White Fat Heffers, or.. well you get the idea. :)
(this is sort of tongue-in-cheek, but may actually be a good idea)

    Hey Ken,

Thanks for taking the time to reply. Great ideas!!! Never thought I could promote it as a porn website.

The porn industry is changing dramatically so it wouldn't be my first pick.
I am sure you heard about the big sex.com scandal happening now.

True, but I would consider sex.com's issues more unique and not really related to the sex website industry as a whole. Their problems are more related to heavy debts from purchasing the domain name, and the inability to be innovative on the website to recoup their losses in time to pay off their creditors.

Your domain is 3 letters and 12 years old. For someone to suggest throwing up a porn site on it as a viable option is just ridiculous.

If you're looking to flip it and get paid, I'd be happy to talk to you about brokering it. Or, you could do it yourself. It's not clear from your post whether or not you realize you are sitting on a pile of cash. ;)

I hear a lot of bashing going on about my (tongue-in-cheek) suggestion on turning it into an adult site), but I really don't hear anybody coming up with better ideas for the fellow.

You can flip it sure, but personally if I had a 12 yr old premium domain, I would hold it as an asset, and not a method to get cash with a quick sell.

Like you said, you've got the branding built into the domain for a very good "work from home" site.

I'd set up something that covered all the basis of work from home - something along the lines of a magazine theme on wordpress. Have a different section for everything work from home related that you can think of - from mommy blogging to surveys to internet marketing (you can sub-niche that down forever).

Then start content generation like a madman to build it out. Unique content, of course. Have a product review section where you recommend good products (for commission, of course) and tell your visitors that others are shit.

Make it legit. Put work into it. Even make a forum when your traffic picks up.

After you've got it going, start approaching "big names' in the work-from-home niche for advertising and joint ventures. Sell some banner space. Have "featured" products that you recommend (for 100% commission, of course; your JV partners would agree to this because of the exposure and the lists they build).

Start a newsletter. Interview people. You can take this domain as far as your imagination in that niche. It'll be work, yes, but I venture to say that with focused effort it can start becoming VERY profitable within just a few months.

I can rattle off half a million more ideas for such a site, but you get the picture. Make it a "one stop shop" for all things work-from-home related and a destination that your audience will always want to come back to and you can write your own paycheck.

I'd love to start with a domain like that. You're sitting on a goldmine.

Too many people on BHW (and in IM in general) think small. Thing BIG.

And if you actually decide to go this route, after you got your traffic up, I'd jump at the chance to do a 100% JV with you.

WOW!!! Thank you gonzomcribbinz. You are a great help.

FYI, I am not looking to sell the domain, but I am very interested
    in developing the name.

I agree, porn would not be a wise choice.

I am always looking for ideas or experienced developers that are familiar with this industry to develop the name. Feel free to PM me.

    Thank you

you won't sell it for the right price? there are plenty of biz op offers you could promote if you would put up a capture page grabbing the name & e-mail address and building your list then promoting biz ip offers with that domain.

I'd like to JV with you if you are interested?
