there are couple of ways doing it.
* you get into a game, play hard and make a good char and flip it in the game (risk: your char can get banned because the admins have heard about you selling it)
* you get into the game, play hard make a good char and buy gold from china (for metin2 / ko for ex.) then sell it online in your clan( risk: your account can get banned if the admins hear about it)
* you get into a game, type in chat that you sell cheap gold (you need to buy them from wholesellers) and give your web site (you need to build a website) people see this and try your service.
* you get into game, be one of the best players, create an audience around you, the you can play the middleman at char flips. (as soon as the admins hear about this, your char can get banned)
these are a couple of stuff people do. Sure there are tens of other methods but let me tell you something. You need to find a twist since the whole gaming niche is oversaturated.

Try searching about runescape. I've read in other forums about method to make money on this game. They are talking about using bots on the game. And people those people are making good amount around $100 a day by using this method. I'm not sure if its true though cause I haven't tried it myself. But they share the method for free and not ask for anything so I guess it is true.
hmmm you know a lot about this.. so you ever make money from it ?

You can make a decent amount of cash doing this, but there are few factors.
First obviously a good PC and Inet(of course depending on the game you are playing)
Second it's still possible to make money with already popular games like runescape, world of warcraft, guild wars, diablo etc... the games have lost quite a bit of their value so the money you can make isn't that impressive.
I would suggest that you keep an eye out for upcoming games like WoW, GW2(basically MMORGPs) and as soon as they come out you start playing. Learn the best way to powerlevel a character to max level, professions, gold farming etc.. then start offering your services.
Just a quick info in the first month in GW2 the average cost to get a character from level 1 to level 80 was about 200-240$ and you could do that in 3-4 days(later it got easier, thus a lot cheaper).

yes but not with these methods, precisely i was on the other side, on the side of gaming company, as a game master, community manager and later as a product manager, so i know what is going on on the backyard but i am not interested in making money with games. It is way too risky and you need to invest too much time.

I was making about $130-150 dollar's a day on Runescape at age 15 by using auto-clicker's running 24/7, mainly mining then selling the mined item's for gold.
But you can lose account's as auto-clicker's can jack your account or the admins can catch on after a while, I lost mine due to a rogue autoclicker but I made a fair chunk of cash

Hmm, even I had once thought of starting out with this method. However it seemed bit complicated as well as time consuming. The thing is that you have to first learn such games, which is the most time consuming step

I'd really like to get back into gaming, esp. for cash. There's another thread where somebody is making a good amount selling gold, etc. Is it worth using bots?
