Yeah, this is a really old thread. Especially the foundation of the thread which is build up a fb group and then sell it for $10k. Can you even do that anymore? I'd think the risk of getting the group deleted would make that kind of price impractical.

There might be some useful info in the thread about how to build up a group, so it might be worth reading once. But most of it is old methods that don't work anymore, so there isn't any reason to add replies like "I'm gonna try this" or "thanks for the share".

I wish people would stop bumping this thread. :(

I am sorry to bump this thread bro, but to answer your question, it is highly unlikely that you will be able to create a group and sell it for $10,000 (these days).

The group would require A LOT of ACTIVE members, a VERY unique idea, etc.

Furthermore, I agree with you. This thread is a good read when it comes to building up a group, but the foundation of this thread is pretty much useless now. :(
 
Looks like I totally miss all the fun. No wonder there were a lot of pages/groups sprouting like mush rooms lately.

I learned something from this. Thanks for sharing this idea.
 
The MONEY that you could make off of a fan page that large- it's nothing compared to what they purchased it for. That's a massive audience, and they know how to milk it.
 
Is anyone even using group anymore? It seems like fan pages have made things much easier.
 
Guys.. you dont have to start a group... just join one or a hundred... send a message on their wall that gets LIKED.. now they are YOUR LIST..tada.. how easy is that...

hello friends, i m new here.i read almost this whole post.then people can sale fb group and sell.but can anybody tell me y anybody want to buy fb group? i mean to ask what he going to do in group after pay money?
 
I have 1600 groups on my facebook account with over 15 million or more members ..imagine then how much i could get for it :) darn! lol ...i've made a 2 part doc file to backup all my groups

I just wouldn't know where to sell it

One advice, if you are into the Group game, go for Linkedin.A similar group of 1 Mil members would sell for FAR more than a similar FB group.
 
so i can send message to my groups member ? people are saying that not possible more than 5k groups member....so can i step by step send message to my group members if i have 50k members ?
