If you want to cheat then use earthcaller.com. It dials numbers for free but you must be using IE.

I emailed one of the ceo's and he responded;
"Chris Horn wrote:

Lloyd,

Brring has paid out almost $9,000 in rewards to date. We are currently working through a backlog of redemption requests.

Thanks for your interest in Brring,
Chris

Is Brring going to start paying anyone??

I would say lots of emails would suffice.

I posted this question on the thread where someone said they actually were paid by br*ing, but I will post it here too.

Is there a Br*ing alternative? Anything remotely similar?

Alot of the threads on this site about br*ing, are on Big Gs front page.

A very few have been paid and those that have it has taken months. I have not found another like it but it's not hard to put this type of company together. The sales of the clients is the hardest part.

yeah, I wanted to get on the band wagon, but I'm not doing anything for free...

Just seeing if there was an alternative.

New Info:
New Rewards Policy

The key change in our reward policy is the elimination of call based rewards. These are the rewards that accrue each time someone calls your Brring number. Standard rewards have been $0.05 per call, with initial call rewards $1.00. We will continue to reward users who invite friends to use Brring and those who help target ads by profiling friends. Those rewards remain unchanged.

Unfortunately during our beta test we have experienced an inordinate number of people flooding the system with fraudulent calls (numbers posted on Craig's List under false pretexts, setting up multiple accounts, etc.). By eliminating the incentive to do so, we will improve the service for everyone.

We will pay all legitimate call-based rewards, including initial call rewards, earned through June 15, 2008. You do not have to redeem rewards by this date, only earn them. Finally, we will be introducing easier ways to redeem rewards more quickly. Stay tuned for further announcements.

Thank You

Thank you for using Brring during our beta test. We appreciate your patience during our growing pains. Most importantly, thank you for helping us realize what works and doesn't work, and for helping us shape and improve the service.

Sincerely,

Brring, Inc.

I am curious how they are going to start incentivising people now if it is not per call. Kind of changes the whole business plan I think.

So basically I have 10 day to wreck havoc on their ass... I was taking it slow, but I think I'm going to call a full blitz...

Engage Eight for all of your Madden lovers!

well.. I did

just got this email

"We are concerned about some of the call behavior involving your Brring number. Can you please tell us in what way you are using your Brring number, (xxx) xxx-xxxx?

In other words, are you using your Brring account for some unusual purpose?

Feel free to reply to this email.

Thanks,

Brring Support."

lol.. not even holding my breathe on whether they will pay.

hi ya...great post...have got skype now but being thick...hahahahahaha...could you please explain how i use skype to get the ads...i,m in uk and have a great interest in this...and maybe a mobile phone too...:confused:hypnoeyes

To get around the pain of finding working pay phones, here's a solution:
hXXp:tossabledigits.com

Remember, you only to need a working phone number for about 5mins to verify the Brring info, then u never need it again. What better than a "disposable, temporary phone number?" LOL. Their plan at tossabledigits allows for unlimited phone numbers(the plan charges for mins used, not numbers) so go to town making a bunch and cancel all the numbers you've used after they are verified by Brring.

I just found this thread even though i've been lurking here for months. Obviously, the brr*ng spamming seems to be dead. But this post alone probably just put a few k in my pocket. Really glad I found this.

Thanks given.

I'm gonna test something out with this over the next month or so and report back here. I'm loving life today guys. Just solved a huge problem of mine.

Don't know where you're at brwipens, but if you're ever in Southern California. I'm buying you a beer!

PLEASE could someone tellme how to set up skype to do this
i,m a little thick lol

Why don't you program your numbers into one of those auto-dialers that the politicians use and have it call you like 3,000 times a day?

Hmmmmmm....nevermind, listening to the phone ring all day would really piss me off.

Pffft, just get a premium rate number, and submit it online to every marketing company and sales enquiry you can find, most are automated systems that dont weed out 09 numbers.

I use Craigslist Powerposting V2.2

You can find the download link here:

For a proxy I like using Hidemyass.com :D

The links on that posts are no longer working nor active can we get an updated url for downloading the files needed to start working the idea?

Thanks

you sir may wear the blackhat.. learn something new on here each day

Anyone still milking this? The Brring.com site still lists the 5cent per call in the FAQ but the redeem link is still "non-resolving" so I assume this company is out of money to pay people. I'm sorry I discovered BHW after this played out. It would have been a great way to pay off the $10 tracphones from like Walmart.

I think if you activate them online, you get 20 free message units. You could use this phone to verify a CL account, do this brring thing, if only for a $1.75 as a referral and a profiled caller and then do whatever with the remaining minutes. Heck use the SIM card in another phone or screw around by dropping it in someone's pocket and then calling them like in that 3rd Bourne movie in the UK rail station. :-)

Does not pay. I even spoke to the vp and they still no pay. It is good to use as a forwarding number thats it.

HAH I have a phone line in the house I dont use and I get blown up by telemarketers all the time I don't bother signing up on the dont call list because sometimes I'm so damn bored I want to screw around with someone...

This is on my list of things to do.

Not sure they are even paying anymore.....can anyone confirm if they are??
