Make money through phone apps

Hey guys,

Do any of you guys know any good ways or apps that you can make money through iPhone or Android(something that you only have to run on the background while you do other stuff) ? And I'm thinking of putting a lot of iPhones/Android phones to do that job (Dunno if this is good idea)

I would be thankful if you guys could point me in the right direction since I'm totally new to those kind of stuff
