Simple , buy and hold a solid coin. Sell after some time when you are in profit. I sell an online service for about $20, I sold some units about a month ago. With current ETH price, that amount is worth $40 now. So, I got almost double in just one month. You can do better if you give it some time.

To make $ from cryptos you'll need to develop something based on cryptos. You can't make consistent $ by trading, since it's basically gambling. So you'll need to make something which is based on cryptos.
