I thought the method would not work, but shockingly it did. Do an exact keyword search for one of the folders I have in my jpg. and tell me the results (that was before I knew some of the nifty tricks). I just need to sell the service now. I could make about 12 toolbar and upload them to my server in an hour, but the submission process will take longer.

I wonder why so much debate on the effectiveness of this method.....from what I see it seems to be working for some. It is easier if you know how to make software but other than that sounds like just needs some effort.

Just a thought
 
You don't need to know how to make software, it's all click here, click there, add keyword there, put in description in appropriate fields...it is so dead easy to do it...

As far as finding people to pay and needing a lucky feather in your cap to sell links...well you will find that as you spend more time here on BHW that it's not luck, you just need to use your head a bit more, and then the hardest part - taking action and stop over killing this in your heads...

Not trying to sound like a dick, just want you all to realize that it is easy and it works...how you utilize the method is up to you...you can make it eazy cheezy or you can make it a huge mountain of doubt...

I thought about using Windows Vista Widgets, but the tutorial I have on making money with them was kind of vague. I need a Youtube version before I try it out.

I am pretty sure it will work as long as you have a pad file and a link to your website.
 
after pad submission ur site will be listed in a new page without any pagerank . this sounds funny ,

all sounds good and easy, but the hard part that always give use headaches is traffic.(i don't think that signuter traffic is converting very well)

Can't think of anymore that are easily affordable off the top of my head.

There is plenty of traffic you just have to go out and get it

This method has its own downsides that Mr.Rebel forgot to tell us.
You need to make a real software (nothing big but a solid small software that will help people not a toolbar or a screen saver).
Why?? Because the moderators will check your ''software'' and delete it because its not a real software.
This method works if you learn to build simple but useful software.
You must consider that no moderator at high pr software sites will those tool bars to hang around.
I`m sorry but that is the truth. Don`t get me wrong this method works if you only submit small nut useful software which can be made in a short time.

just use TBP and give them all the traffic they want lol ... actually i have no idea but if people are looking for traffic (essentially)... then give it to them if they pay for it :)
 
Yeah, this thread still has life.

There's Conduit for toolbars and I've had some link success with that.

I'm going to try executable ebooks now.

What else can we use for software to distribute?

You can turn your articles into EXE files using some free software called
WebSiteZip Packer. This software will allow you to turn any HTML page
