hehe, seriously you should have not posted this in a so public place, I'd hate to give this a try and realize there is a huge competition to go against off. but wait, how could I get this info if it wasn't posted in here :p?

Anyway, thank you =] best method i've seen for a while, no much work, you can optimize and tweak it a lot and increase your profits, all perfect, perfectly suits me :P Will give this a try for sure
 
This post was a good read indeed. All I will say is that unless I have tried and tested it , I wont be giving my verdict. I dont find any reason for this not working.

What program should I use for submitting PAD files?

padadd is $69.95, and limited to 10 software products max, with 1 Year's renew
promosoft is $95 US

which one is the best?

Also, do software submission sites allow toolbars and screensavers?
I'd like to test it with one of my sites before selling the service
 
Use Robosoft, its $99 for life, and you get 6 months of
database updates for free, thereafter its $8 per month
to keep the submission site data updated!
 
hmm this could work as long as the back links are in fact legit.
 
Enough of them do to get 250 backlinks. When doing this you might want to have more than 1 keyword because out of the 799 sites that Promosoft sends to I get about 160 that show "completed submission". Also, shot for keyword with less than 50K competition (easy to find using Google keyword tool or Market Samauri).
 
Anyonline can describe me how to find clients? I have my domain with landing page setup, now I need some more info on finding clients. I don't want to be nuked by the DP guys asking me for free review copies or whatelse, but definately I will use forums to find people, anyone can tell me some ways? Maybe make an affiliate program, or hire someone to get me clients?

And how can we provide report to keep the customer satisfied. (if anyone knows please post it here or start a new thread).

This is also a great idea but unfortunately it`s just an idea. In order someone to believe that you making money you must provide a solid proof.
I will definitely try this method I don`t about you guys.
Any opinions from anyone will be welcomed. :)
 
Sweet idea I am going to start a site as soon as I get my bank transfer! And i have the perfect Domain name.

If you have Promosoft it will tell you how many submissions were successful, how many errors, and so forth. You wait about a week and you start seeing the software with your url popping up. Here are a few I've been experimenting with:

I just wanted to see how they would rank/position with g00gle. You could get away with this on a newbie, but probably not a seasoned webmaster. I have even seen some of my PR Storm trial and error experiments showing up. It will work!

Wasn`t asking for proof.I just wanted to hear advice from anyone who is willing to give one. And yea again thanks for the idea.
 
Ok, the method looks great. If it is not good for seasoned webmasters is there any way to tweak the method so that it would work no matter who you are seasoned or noob? Just looking for advice on this one?

Also, will someone pm me a sample of your setup I just want to see if I will be on the right track.

Why are you guys making this so complicated??...it works, just fu*king do it :) in fact, if you google "100+ Untapped Link Building Strategies" (without quotes) you will see that most of the 1st page results are all download directories...

Now that isn't my submission, but all those listings are all backlinks!...all done by the method described here...7 of the 10 results (today) are from software directories...my guess is that someone wanted to promote that blog post, made a toolbar, and submit...check it right now and you'll see...

I personally didn't sell the backlinks, I'd do a PAD run whenever I launched a new site, and that is great advice about making sure competition is below 50k exact phrase results (with quotes)...

You could however sell a general backlink package and just mix a PAD run in with some other methods...with Promosoft (that's the one I used, but license expired), I'd get roughly 300 links every run...a good number picked up almost instantly while the rest trickle in over weeks...

When Google re-ranks, you'll begin to see your site/keyword optimized page begin to take over the software directory downloads...
