This was one of the oldest methods I tried and was possibly the only thing that could work out for me at that time.
It is really simple, you are going to buy gold from people with no ID(since they cannot legally sell gold without an ID) and then you are going to resell it.
You can do this with zero investment, but I suggest you buy a scale and acid test for gold. None of that is expensive.
Here is what you should do:
1. Find a lot of Facebook groups where majority of members are teenagers from your city.
2. Join these groups, engage in discussions and be friendly. You can also use a fake profile if you like.
3. After some time, make a post where you are offering to buy off gold of people interested. If you are young like I was at the time, chances are you have some even younger friends who are still in highschool and can promote your service among their peers.
4. Depending on a country, jewelries will not buy gold from underage citizens. That is why you are targeting teens, since they either do not have ID or do not know how and where to sell gold.
5. Now, if jewelries would offer you $27 for 1g of 14carat gold(todays price where I live), you are going to offer these teens anywhere from $18-22 for 1g, depending on a piece they have.
6. Kids have their own bugs, so they will sell their gold to buy things their parents do not want to buy for them. They maybe want to buy something which they do not want their parents to know about, so they will keep their mouth shut about selling their gold to some random dude.
7. Now that you have acquired gold:
A - you are either going to sell it to jewelries for $5-$9 profit per 1g
B - or you are going to make a page on facebook and advertise pieces you have. In this other scenario, you are going to sell them for higher price, but lower than what jewelries are selling for. Lets say jewelries are selling gold for $70 per 1g of 14carat gold, you are going to sell it for $50 a gram. It is considerably less, but still way more than jewelries would pay you.
I was doing this with 5 friends, all of which graduated from different highschools, so we had a big pool of potential customers. One friend even opened his own jewelry after a couple of years.
