I was thinking of this method the other day when I was hanging out with a buddy of mine. I don't know if this method has been shared before or not and I haven't tried it but Im sure people are already doing it with youtube.

The method is to record yourself playing whatever game it is your playing and then upload each video to youtube.

So take RPGs for example. You pick up the new final fantasy game or whatever and go through the game and title the videos from part 1 to as many parts as it takes and then upload them all.

Then put adsense on your videos. You can have a dedicated channel for every game you play or every genre of game and gain more subscribers this way as well since you will have more recognition and such.

People like to go to youtube to find out how to beat certain difficult areas in games they are trying to complete. Its much easier to look at a video then to read a text in my opinion.

I was thinking also that this could probably be scaled up by outsourcing it to hardcore gamers. Pay them some kind of upfront fee or part of your earnings without telling them about adsense. They get some pocket money to do what they love and you get paid for having all gamers create content rich videos for you.

Hope this helps, I know its not an amazing method but just wanted to share.

Thanks

This is actually a good one. I watch day9 quite a bit and he just f's off most of the show.

Ton of people r doing it already

Too much competition

Ahh ok, haven't really looked into it but thanks for the heads up.

Thanks I would think it could work too as this could be twisted in many ways and I feel people watch different videos on the same subject all the time.

Yeah your right, this leads me to believe there is much potential if so many people are doing it.

This is actually the general concept of Youtube. Almost all the top YT'rs are already doing this... (yogs and pewdie)

You might get into trouble with using copyright material. There are games that allow you to record and upload videos like Call of Duty. Those are huge.

I think if some games don't allow to record then your account will be banned.
