Make money playing MMORPGs

I know people who have partnered with talented programmers, crashed the economy in one of the bigger MMO's and made a killing over a pretty short period of time. Considerable bankroll and meticulous planning are required though.

Very informative post @pseudonym . Im kinda blown away with amount of info you posted. I feel like i was living in dark. Engaging more in that kind of industry would mean that my other ventures would suffer, and maybe thats the way it should be. I have to think about it.
 
i can count the number of people who's lives i've changed permanently on two hands by now. don't worry. i don't know your circumstances but for the most part people can earn up to 200k a year in this industry without sacrificing their entire future. but it does take setup time. i don't mind giving out complete blueprints and holding negotiations for free. i do this because my own competitor is largely Time. not People.

Now enough talking and lets start with the "method" it's not really a method, more like a push towards the right direction.


1) Download or buy any popular MMORPG game. I highly recommend World of Warcraft, Final Fantasy XIV and Guild Wars 2. They are my major source of income. Start with one of the games i mentioned. Not all.

2) Play the game. Learn how it works, how you can make as much currency within the shortest amount of time.

3) Download bots. I highly recommend "Buddy" just google any of the game i mentioned + buddy bot and it takes you to their website. I am by no way affiliated with them but i do use them for all my games, their bots are the safest and the best ones in the market.

Example: "World of warcraft buddy bot"

4) By now you should know how the game works and how you can make in-game currency fast and simple. Run your bot 10-12 hours a day, hell...try running it 24/7 if you want.

5) Yay you are super rich in game! Now it's time to sell the currency/items for real cash. I suggest you register on PlayerAuction & G2G. They are safe and connects you with customers. You can google them if you want to read reviews or whatnot, again i am by no way affiliated with them but i do use them myself and they make me money so yeah...I recommend them.

6) Now pick another game and repeat, repeat, repeat. I suggest you start saving for a good PC so you can bot all the games i mentioned at the same time, run multiple instances and make as much as you can...Goodluck people!


Additional info: Try getting as many ratings/feedback you can on the sites i mentioned. And always deliver fast (I deliver within 20 minutes)

Once you made a couple of XXX dollars. I suggest you find a bulk-seller. Someone who's selling their gold CHEAPER than you are..Buy from them and sell for a higher price, but please make sure you know how the game works and make sure you can profit from it.

Idky you don't mention the two biggest money-making games, Entropia and EVE Online.

And tbh, of all the ways to make money online, gaming (unless you're streaming / youtubing) is the shittiest way lol. Farming gold takes hours with not enough payback. Unless you're actually enjoying playing -- which you really aren't when you're playing to make cash. And botting can get you banned. I've SEEN THIS :D

You could probably make more money in an hour of writing or SEO than farming gold.

Tl;dr: Play games for fun not for work, unless you're streaming.

If you're using bots you'll get found out and banned.

DUDE this is like so smart.

I'm not sure if you're talking about Diamond players or simply masters / challenger. Cuz if you're talking master/challenger, then it's not that profitable for them since challenger peeps are probably already in LCS or in tournaments all the time so they're probably earning more playing on their real account.

But if you're talking about being diamond and selling gold accounts then this would work probably. It depends if you can get to gold/plat in 3 days.

These people usually do boosting instead... for retarded prices like $50

It's pretty cool to see a topic like this get attention here. I run a somewhat notable e-commerce website in the MMO field. I've met multiple people who do business with us who make 100k+ usd per year farming one of the games that has been mentioned here :p

i believe there is no bot that can get you out of silver to gold, i see its not worth to bot itself from lvl 1 and lvl 30 and sell account, but how much it could be to bot account to lvl 30 + get the account to platinum? (for me its easily achievable if i'm not rusted)

I don't see what kind of bot can work on ranked in LoL at all... If anyone can actually code that, they'd best be working for some AI company.... cuz... that's some high tech scary shit LOL.

LoL requires some higher level actions and coordination. What if your jg doesn't start blue? What if your team tries to baron but doesn't ping or say it? How can it tell the diff between a baron bait and a baron attempt...... so many factors.

That's true, but none of it matters below platinum because everybody is bad. With AI-level reflexes and battle skills it'll compensate for that.

I got honorbuddy but only used it to lvl my accounts as i was to lazy to start over again every time.
Can you pm me what you bot? And what kind of items you talking about that you can get with botting and sell.

Some of my first money came from boting runescape, was making $3-$4/h with my bots and that was with only 3 accounts...good times. :)

If I had a better PC or knew what a VPS was I would have scaled it up.
