There are a few common ways people monetize X/Twitter now, depending on your niche and audience:
• Affiliate marketing (CPA, Amazon, SaaS, crypto, etc.)
• Driving traffic to offers, newsletters, or stores
• Selling services (SEO, design, marketing, VA, etc.)
• Sponsored posts once the account grows
• Promoting Telegram/Discord communities

The main thing is building an audience around a specific niche first. Accounts with consistent engagement usually monetize much easier than random/general pages. News, finance, AI, motivation, sports, and entertainment still seem to perform well lately.

Crypto is considered a blackhat niche, and can probably get your accounts banned. However, Twitter is more "open" regarding cryptocurrency and investment niches than other social media. So you may get your accounts working for 3-4 weeks before getting shadow or even outrightly banned.

X clearly no longer values impressions like it used to… A few months ago, some of my posts easily got over 200k impressions. Today, I barely exceed 40k with the same type of content. And naturally, revenue has been divided by 5. We were sold a platform for creators, but it's becoming increasingly difficult to see any logic in it.

join the creator program, and get paid, if that is not possible, just build your traffic, and try affiliate marketing. There is always a way to make money of a large audience if you invest time into growing one
