FORGET FLYERS Go with CD's....



1- Buy empty bulk cd's, they are cheap these days.





2- Print a cover of new movies.(avatar) or use a blank cover





3-burn a short avi movie on the cd (use windows movie maker) with the text: This movie can be watch on (your CPA /site /URL ;)



Give your paperboy some cash and ask if he will drop them into people mailbox

When people will get a (blank) cd in their mail box, they will be curious.



I never tried this method, but you can do this with big events or music.

There a enough companies that willl burn cd's in bulk.

You have to find ways to spread it, it will take some work, but i guess this can convert like crazy in the wright areas.



remember people are curious, remember that.

might work but you have lots of expenses: printer ink, paperboy, cds... and for what? to get people to fill out some cpa offer that will pay you a few cents? You'd have to have an amazing conversion rate before you break even

Not saying it is not possibe, but it is a bit risky
 
Depending on what you do is the answer as to the notion that you should do this or not.It does serve me well in my nitch.
 
You would also have to deal with the fact that most people are
going to be suspicious of some unbranded cd they did not order.
Also, if you are in the US, you can't put in anyone's mailbox. you'll get a postal fine.
 
I will surely use this idea in other business. This will work. I will cook something for this.
 
ill agree and say that it is risky. even with the copyright laws, i know your not actually doing the movie on there but i would leave it blank. with the "text movie"... or you could just do a flyer and fedex kinkos it lol

Bro.... Sometimes the hard work really isn't worth it. There's a ton of examples where hard won't pay off and the answer isn't to keep working harder if the method itself is flawed. I actually like the idea the OP came up with, but it would be better suited to promote your own product, as a pose to CPA where the network may or may not even pay you all your commissions. Pretty much all networks shave your true commissions. Don't do all that offline marketing just to make someone else rich.
 
good idea but why the hell would you even consider doing this when you can do exactly the sort of thing for your own product or PLR one - I got PLR product from friend who is copyrighter and gave first cd away and got them to order the rest - mailed out with list from yellow pages/whitepages and converted good - need product above 197 to be worth it.

By the way yellow pages rent their data which included white page listing, and you can target it to area, age and gender etc - great for business listings and cheap
 
You'll get busted by police due copyright infringement so not worth it
 
Ok i agree not good enough, it was just a idea , but i think there is to much work envolved.
I think this this thread can be closed.
 
better to put some sort of malware installer on it - so that when they launch it and double click on the program it force installs some spyware or something.

You never told them to install it - they chose to.
