Friend of mine made a professional sign - goes to stadiums, arenas, during big events, stands
on public ground and earns about $300 .

Sign simply states:
Bad Advice $5.00
Really Bad Advice $7.00
Results Vary

Customer asks him a question, and he gives bad advice or really bad advice to them.

ALso works at beaches

I can so see how this could make some fun money. Perfect areas where people are in a good mood, have cash in hand and what's 5 bucks at the football game when you'll spend 10x that just to get in?

sacrifice to make money....isn't this the real thing be goes with money making....

Call you friend's cell phone right now please..

Tell him I said hes a scum bag, and he should jump over a bridge

This method is creative: yes... but even more so, it is a complete insult to everything that represents marketing.

If I ever saw this jerk I'd kick him in his shin bone, steal his little jar of coins and chewing-gum wrappers and then force him to leave town never to return.

How dare he make a mockery of marketing. He should be tarred and feathered.

I am disgusted

you my friend are delusional this is blackhatworld not the cub scouts :)

Can't tell if not serious or seriously mad

Great idea. Loved the 'premium hugs' too lolz...

Except time traded for earning that money, it can be a good method to pass time and socialize. But to be honest, it's not going to fetch much money.

I have seen some of the similar signs with - "I can talk to anyone on almost anything, for free" because some people with money have nobody to socialize.

Great idea. Fortune tellers, psychics, and the like have been using this method for hundreds of years. :P
Same applies to most churches - but that's another topic of discussion.

So, bad advice is entertaining in some parts of this world.

I love the idea, though.
Bad advice should be entertaining in any part of the world where people have a sense of humor and a slight bit of intelligence. A slight bit of intelligence is enough to know both parties are there for fun.

That is so funny. Neat little idea and surprised that people actually pay!

If you are incredibly rich then I will sit at the feet and listen to your elitist attitude towards lack of sophisticated marketing. Otherwise....

He would make a lot of money in Times Square. For real.

Reminds me of the old 900 'Dial an Insult' type numbers, just given a new twist for the 2010's.

ok, next time I will tell him to wear a black hat when he does it.
Thx for the good advice (I'd send you five dollars if it was bad advice)
