Make money as a developper

Hey guys,

I'm broke atm and i really need to make some money..
I would like to ask to my dev fellas if you have some tips to earn money from your developper skills. Is there any platform you had success with as a freelance ?

There is freelancer.com and odesk. You can also check out the hire a freelancer section here.
 
Upwork is good when it works.

There were issues there with payments in the past. But recently things seem to have gone back to normal.
 
The problem I find with upwork / freelancer is there is always someone willing to undercut you :(

I've tried the Freelance sites, but there's always someone willing to take less. I live in silicon valley, I don't want to get paid $5 an hour. But someone living in India might see that as great pay. I can't compete. Maybe you can.
 
I second reddit r/forhire. Also be sure to look around here lots of users need some development work done and will pay you for it.
