sorry for the noob question but where to upload the pics? the demotivational pics? do i have to upload it on /home/usename/public_html ??? sorry i am really new this kind of stuffs hope you guys help me out... BTW G-S-T means G-reat S-hare T-hanks! :D

You should upload them in the admin panel which you can visit at yourdomain/admin.php
 
I've been using an image script that looks similar to this one, and it works perfectly.
The version that I'm using looks very close to what they are using on Damn LOL.
It looks like my script is setup differently from this one. It uses a SQL database.

I just have a problem getting traffic into the site. I don't have any massive
facebook accounts or other social media accounts to make the images go viral.

I might be willing to help somebody get setup with this script or even with the
script that I'm using now, in exchange for some help with traffic to my site.. PM me.
 
I can't make this script work on my hosting.
Uploaded images don't show up on my site.

The images uploaded to /pictures folder have long names like 53956834dgidsfjhk.jpg, but when I view the source code in a web browser, the image name is like 1.jpg, 2.jpg, ... There are not image files 1.jpg, 2.jpg, ... in the /pictures folder.

I don't know how to fix the problem. Can anyone help me?

Hello there!

I am also one of various which try to set up fully functional this script to my site.
But I can figure out where put Google Analytic code??? I try it to ads.php at: $adrow["head"] = "GOOGLE ANALYTIC SCRIPT HERE"; but without results. I try it also templates/inner_index.html before </head> tag but also no results.
Any suggestions? Ideas?

Could anyone please provide files without MD5 code so that name of the picture stays the same and not in MD5 format - I removed all, but it just won't work.
 
Has anyone who's managed to get it up and running made any money from it yet? Adsense seems like one of the few options for a site like this and people have been banned for just having pictures so not sure it's a worthwhile venture.
 
I was gonna try something very much like this about a year ago, but I decided it wasn't worth it. Of course, I never did anything with it, so maybe I was wrong.

Grabber is working fine on Hostgator, posting OK from the bundled sources using the command line posted earlier specifically for Hostgator but I have a question that seems to be skirted over a few times.

I have downloaded the meme archives that have been posted in and would like to know if there is an easy way to upload (using the grabber or any other method) and post these archives.

Or will the grabber pull all of these images eventually from the other sites ?

Hey there, I was wondering how you fixed the "No valid argv provided" problem. I can't seem to find my way around it
 
Thank for posting this, btw i manage to run the script successfully and wondering which script to edit if i wan't to put the admin.php to admin folder?
Editing by myself seem to give me so many error.
 
Found how to fix pictures tha not showing :), well there post that needs to be edited addpost.php, addvideo.php... Aslo you need to Edit Submit.php file just remove md5 from $filename = md5($last_id); all should work. Cheers :)
 
I get dozens of 'funny' and 'inspirational' pics on my facebook every day, I decided to upload them to blogger and see what traffic I could generate without much effort. I haven't done any promotion for the site but getting 30-50 visits a day. I'm going to test it out over the next couple weeks, takes no more than 5 minutes to upload and if it seems like traffic will continue to flow in I'll stick adsense on there.
 
Hi, do you guys have success with this method? I'm thinking about giving it a shot, the main source of traffic for me would be twitter - replies and tweets to followers
