    Hai guys,

I would like to know, is it true to make credibility first and then you can make money?

If it true, I have something bothering my mind. I see many people 'showing' their huge checks and big commission through paypal or clickbank. But, honestly I don't have that kind of thing as a tools to convince people.

Sometimes for me, it really hard to make money when you have nothing to show.

What do you think guys? I need some advise to this question because it keep playing on my mind and stuck me. :(

p.s: mod, i don't know if I put this post at the right place and you can freely moved it at the right section.

    Thanks.

    Hi Sevenths,
Creating credibility does not always mean showing images with big paychecks.
It can also mean positive feedback from others, and you can get these by looking for (beta) testers by posting offers on forums like these, DP, WR, and many more.

Here at BHW a lot of people are making money online, or finding ways to do so. Members here at BHW are also able to give you tips and tricks how to go from here.
Also, with Fireworks or Photoshop you can easily alter the image so it looks like huge amounts and or a lot of amounts getting into your PayPal account. Remember don't always get fooled by what you see, but remember what you read.

    Wishing you all the luck

    Thanks ebizz4all,

You light me up a little bit with that post.

I like to share my experience a little bit. I want to make fast money so I decided to use the forum marketing method. And the forum that I go for is sure DigitalPoint.

But, it hard to say..when ever I really offer good value for them, it's seem most of they are condemn me. Yeah, for sure there also a lot people like to selling craps. But how to make me really stand up to say that I'm not selling the craps?

Another thing, about the free copies, I don't know whether my method is correct or not. Every time I'm giving free copies for review, those person that I'm giving free copies doesn't reply anything!

Sorry if my words bit emotional..but I don't know where to express my feeling about this..

Give out free service or free products for 3-5 times, while building your customer list. Then start offering to your list another free service, OR an improved product/service for a fee, OR a high value bundled pack of products/services for a premium fee AT YOUR CUSTOMER OPTION.

This is a good way to build both your credibility and customer list in the same time (don't forget to always give some extra bonus for referring new customers).

Offer some reward for reviews done within 1 day, less reward for reviews within 3 days, and no reward for later reviews. Do your follow up.

A reward may be something that doesn't cost you anything, such as inclusion in your directory web site, a good relevant backlink etc.

I think it's the other way around. Make the money first, and that creates your credibility. There's many ways other than starting to sell your ebooks on a forum. If you want to become credible in a forum, then make good posts, and become well known first before just posting your product for sale for your first post.

If you don't know if your method is correct or not, then you probably shouldn't be trying to sell it. Also, for your product to be good, you should be able to use it yourself to make money with. You can't always expect to just write an ebook and make bookoos of money. Ebooks should be based on something that you know will work.

This may sound cheesy, but credibility starts with yourself. If you don't see yourself as credible, how do you expect others to see you as credible. It seems like you're a little frustruated and while all of us have been there, you've got to create a positive mindset and be able to work your way around setbacks. You need to map out where you're going, and know with 100% conviction that you are going there. If you know where you're going, no matter how you go about getting there, you will not be discouraged so easily, and you can always focus on getting to the end results.

Just keep your head up and work on a positive mental attitude. I know a lot of people say that and it may sound stupid, but I think it is the single most important part in being successful in whatever you do.

    Just my two cents.

Find a street salesman who works in a crowded place and be his apprentice for a month or two. Meanwhile say hello to at least 300 people each day. Hold your spine straight. Smile.

It depends on your "Cow" (audience, contact list, visitor etc). You milk it daily, weekly or only once. If only once, credibility is not important.

It is always easier to sell to people who already bought from you (and who are satisfied), than to new audience.

Don't only think about the pennies you get at a sale to a customer, but think about the lifetime value of a returning customer.

I'd recommend you read Mike Filsaime's Butterfly Marketing Manuscript, or the 12 Month Millionaire reports.

You can achieve both in the same time. People with money used to have better credibility in business. (Mayer Amschel Rotschild exploited this observation at a mastery level.) While it is hard to earn money without credibility. Best way is to gradually increase both these factors, step by step.

Another couple of credibility suggestions I would like to add are:

    1) Have a photo of yourself on your web page to show the world you are not hiding.

    2) Display real testimonials from previous customers. If you don't have any, you can get some very quickly by offering to give out review copies of your product on a forum in return for their testimonials. Get permission from them to include their email address, or at least their website url in their testimonial.

    3) Include your email address, and even better, your phone number and a physical address - even if it's a PO Box on your web page.

    4) Make a statement on your webpage or on your opt-in box to your potential customers, telling them that you will NEVER sell or rent their email address to anyone for any purpose whatsoever.

    5) Apply to get certificates you can display on your website. ie. Internet Better Business Bureau, eTrust, etc.

It is important to realize that people don't trust you - and rightfully so. It is up to you to develop an ongoing relationship with them by giving them lots of QUALITY free stuff and helping them along. Frank Kern is a master at this. He calls it "Results In Advance". You can learn more about his technique by going to his Mass Control site and check out his video called "Paid For Life" Here's the link: http://masscontrolsite.com/blog/?p=33

    Hope this has helped some.

    Cheers! - "WizGizmo" :)

The credibilty is important when you work in IM niche. All big names name "gurus" make huge buck on a big time " credibility" basis. Many of those "gurus" don't tell a damn new "secret" you do not already know but people still pay for that stuff $1,000s. Just because it's from "a guru" then it means to be good. If you look at the numerous products at various price range you notice that the same stuff costs few times higher on the "guru" side. A guy without "credibility" sells the same stuff for $7.

For all other niches credibility is not in your name but in what you say on your website and of course how you handle customer service. For example, If you reply to a potential customer's e-mail enquary right away you build an instant credibility.

But credibilty is important in one way or another.

    My opinion.
