Make BHW mobile ready!!!

hi,

i use the net on my cell phone a lot....

and i tend to open BHW too...

sadly BHW is not exactly mobile browser friendly...

i bet there are some extensions that will make BHW mobile ready in 5 min!

please add this feature... would be a great way to pass time if i am getting bored somewhere!

ps: i use a HTC diamond.. if its some thing that i can do at my end let me know...! it opens BHW like on the computer and its a tough thing to read it like that!

buy an iPhone...

Blackhatworld is "mobile friendly" to the 3G ...

-by the way, pitch that HTC.... i've always had bad luck with those!! lol

well its not the way it loads..

what i hate is that i need to zoom everything to read it... it sucks that way!

hmm...
shoot Diamond Dave a PM, ...

he might just make a "mobile" version...

That would be pretty cool.... with like a scroll down menu, and all the new threads listed...

I wonder how hard it'd be to keep updated?!?!..

I have quickly added one, select it on your phone at the bottom by selecting the mobile style
Bottom left, i advise not selecting this on computer as its not finished. And wont let you select normal again for until i finish it and css it.

But that should be simple enough for any mobile now.
Ill work on more soon as im a little busy let me know how it feels

I use an iPhone to access BHW a lot and it loads quick (i got a 3G), but it isn't formatted well?

Yes BHW works fine on an iphone.

I'm on an iPod touch and BHW always loaded pretty fast for me. But a couple of minutes ago I decided to try out the mobile version that Harro just put together and now it's stuck like this lol. Let me know when there is a way to change it back because I liked the black background.

I have added ipod touch, iphone to show the regular theme because its fast enough. All windows mobile, and other wap mobiles will show a simple theme for faster let me know if you want anything else.

And i have made the CSS file for simple mobiles it will be pretty but i dont have access to upload the css file so i emailed it to Dave, it will be better when he uploads it as its pretty sexy and simple to navigate for mobile users.

I have also added a tag for anyone who posts on mobile it will show that We will test run that idea too. Lets see if it works.
Be patient hopefully the css will be uploaded soon and youll like it better
I think MISSION = COMPLETE

Suggestion fullfilled ?

Just sent a highly optimised iphone ready skin to Dave too, so all should be up when he gets the files and uploads

Enjoy (its not fully up yet but it will be but the work is done and ready so a day at the most itll be uploaded)
Emailed all the files to dave so Voila

USE Opera MINI or preferably BOLT Browser. You won't have this problem with ANY webpages.

FYI i use BHW with my regular cell phone, i just had to install opera mini browser, works fine for me except for the [post quick reply] it doesnt work i always have to use [go advanced] to reply to threads

incidentally i developed the first mobile ready joomla site too - i think dot mobi compliant sites are seriously overlooked you can do some great stuff specifically for cell phones...

look forward to testing out harro implementation - do you have to make it sniff the browser? sometimes ive found it to be a pain when i dont want the css to change...
