One additional thing I'll say when I see a seller bumping their own thread with no other legit message of interest from a buyer, I will never consider to buy from them.

that's why it takes time here because everyone has different schedules and their time zone it's different. you have to explain everything as while why placing the order

@Evelines, if you are getting a late reply from a seller. it doesn't mean he is lazy or irresponsible with his business/clients, everyone wants money.
There are sellers from all over the world with different schedules and office timings. When you are contacting a seller, he might be sleeping after 9 hours shift. so don't be rude here. it's not the forum's mistake
Try making detailed replies so you can bridge the communication gap and make a deal faster.
I have dealt with multiple clients from different countries with different schedules, but we made multiple deals while cooperating with each other

As the buyer I can take 8 weeks to reply. The seller is the one on a time schedule. I understand that most guys here are on the Indian timezone and we sleep around 8 hours, that's all cool. The problem is when the seller takes a whole day to reply, like why, why are you sleeping for 24hrs on a weekday
Sure, everyone wants money, some just want it more and those will get it.

this is not right, though because thread bumping is one of the tools that sellers have to bring their BST to the front, and this has nothing to do with whether their service is bad.
Today's people have very short attention spans, and many of them don't even scroll below the fold, so how are legit sellers going to even get attention (much less sales) to their BST when most people don't scroll down and when every sub-marketplace on this forum is filled to the brim with sellers?

Sure I agree, what you're not calculating for are time zones, then you would know it is like early morning his time, but anyway that's not the point. I don't expect a reply on a weekend but it is a nice surprise. The point of that screenshot was to show the last 4 messages mainly where the reply took a full day. Unless you are a huge business, for freelancers there should be no reason to reply after 1 working day.
And that's why he lost the deal because someone was faster. That's a fact and cannot be disputed no matter how you put it.
True, sometimes I find pretty interesting stuff when sellers bump which otherwise you would never see lost somewhere deep in a sub forum.
1 thing on bumping though is that sometimes sellers just bump without answering any pending client questions on their thread which is honestly hilarious

I saw that too, and it's indeed a big deterrent (at least for me), unless I'm in dire need of that guy's service I always skip such sellers

I just found it curious that your argument hinged on 2-3 day replies, but your screenshot was calling out someone for responding around lunch the next business day to a 9 PM message.
That's entirely reasonable. But I don't see how the seller in your screenshot failed to meet that standard.

lol you're def not the only one.I've had sellers take 3-4 days just to answer a basic question. At some point you start wondering if they're busy or just dont like making money.Funny thing is the guys who reply fast usually get more customers anyway.

Exactly, finally someone gets it. Too many offended sellers on here are getting frustrated with my post for speaking the truth. Now we know what sellers not to do business with in this thread because they told on themselves

If that was the case it would make more sense to keep the buyer on read and ignore completely. If it's not worth the hassle why engage in conversation trying to sell after a few days? The logic doesn't make sense hereor maybe
