Make BAT by using Brave Browser

Did you enable Brave Rewards? Its the triangle icon to the right of the address bar. You can set the maximum number of ads to see per hour.

I did not see the adds as well, but then I looked and was like, oh.. it showed me 5 adds and I have now have $0.25 of bat in my account... Perhaps they need to make the adds just a bit more able to be seen?

Ok, but to you need to disable the add blocker to see the ads?

Or will they show when the blocker is on?

Used it for a bit and now have 30 BAT. It's a nice browser and all chrome extensions work over there. Unfortunately you can't withdraw the BAT from your browser yet.

Not positive but i think you have to visit a verified publisher site to see the ads. Over 50,000 sites to date.

No, the ads appear as a browser notification (they look like Windows notifications) in the lower right of the screen.

You need to go to https://publishers.basicattentiontoken.org and connect an Uphold wallet. The next deposit date for payments April 8.

No, ads will appear randomly as use are using the browser. You should see between two and five per hour.

Been using brave browser now for about two days, don't think will make you rich overnight but $.026 for just do my regular browsing is not bad.
I don't even see where the ads are popping up on the screen... Just every time I checked the rewards it says you have another point in it.. lol.

Same me lol.

Also, don`t forget to setup Ads Settings as 5 per hour.

I don`t know why I am attracted to this small things but it`s fun :D

Not seeing any ads yet. Maybe because I'm from a third world country. Is using vpn or proxies allowed?

This could be pretty profitable if most of the traffic is related to crypto as Brave is gaining popularity among the crypto audience so obviously most of them will have their auto-rewards enabled. Infact I've already decided to accept bat rewards on the new blockchain based platform that I'm currently working on.

So, there was an update to the Dev version of the browser today. This update has reset the Current earnings this month and ad notifications received to zero. If this information was stored in a local file that was overwritten, you may be out of luck.

I did some checking and I have good news and bad news. The good news is the file for brave rewards is found in the user directory. The bad news is the file is being replaced with a new version when there is an update. However, I seem to be getting about 0.15 BAT per ad view with the new version though.

Not sure if this is a bug or done intentionally. We are using the Dev version after all.

I would suggest backing up the confirmation file for brave rewards daily though.

Thanks for the share. Some friends are using brave instead of chrome. Will forward them that info

Its been almost two weeks. I thought I check in and see if anyone is earning anything yet or has given up.

I tried Brave before but I don't like it, it's laggy on my and not fast as chrome/ff

I just started a couple days ago. I think I'm on day 3. I've earned 6.2 BAT ($1.58 USD) and recieved 124 ads. I've enclosed a screenshot. It's a notification push ad, usually about crypto, and some SEO ads. And a lot of Vimeo ads which I accidentally keep clicking on now I see Vimeo everywhere.

You need to use the Dev version to earn and turn off unnecessary settings. It uses more memory than I'd like, but I can flush it every so often.

True, but there are other types of ads too.

Currently at 53.55 BAT at $15.25
