I figured it's time to contribute a little to this forum. I've been into PPD for quite some time. So far I've made 4k+. Not a big deal compared to the time it took me to make that amount.
Most of you guys concentrate all your energy and time on Youtube as your main traffic source only. That's profitable, no doubt about that. There's a HUGE coin to that though. Something that can completely ruin your income over night:

If you've experienced anything like that you know how devastating it can be to go from 50$+ a day to 0.
What you need to do instead is create your OWN website. You don't need a fancy .com domain (recommended though) a simple blogger site is fine to start out with. This way, all your file download links can be "hosted" ONE place. If you do blogger, be prepared to get your blog deleted if you violate any of their rules!
Now there is lots of niches out there that is overlooked when doing PPD. Again, most of you pick these: Cracks, hacks, keygens, etc. fake content. Sure that's fine, but it's not evergreen niches, so your stream of downloads will die out eventually.
Instead you could try something health related. Heck, check the Clickbank marketplace and see all the products that sell so well. You think they would sell if there wasn't a need for them? Heck no! And it's way easier to convert a download of a FREE file, than to convince someone to pay a whopping 37$ for an ebook.
I know for a fact that the big earners pick niches like these, ebooks are very profitable, especially if you setup a good squeeze page that get's the users attention! Don't know how to make one? Have a look at Fiverr and find someone who can make one, it's cheap!
Start building backlins, can be outsourced on Fiverr as well. If you want to, you can monetise the site with Adsense and add a few extra bucks to your revenue. Aim for low competition keywords, and build multiple sites, you will start generating alot of downloads over time, and it will be consistent since these niches are EVERGREEN. Meaning it's a niche that will continue to have people looking for it.
Don't pick anything like:
Make money online
fat loss products
skin care
etc. etc.
Too much competition...
If you do Youtube videos, keep it at ONE channel, and do it whitehat! This way you wont get your videos deleted, you will get REAL subscribers, views etc. Oh, and most importantly keep ONE channel for EACH niche. Otherwise you are just asking to get flagged. You need to be as natural about it as possible, maybe even mention that the download requires a survey to be filled out. If you provide good content you will get downloads!
Think outside the box! Don't do whatever everone else is doing, and TAKE ACTION!
