i dont want the people clicking it knowing that its an associate link, how can i make it appear unlike an aff link, i dont mean redirect, short link ect , i mean adding keywords behind or in front of it, i see some that go like this UTF8&qid=1407654715&sr=8-1&keywords=xbox+one+kinect

Most people don't even know what an associate link is. Just use the included link shortener. Twitter has made them common-place, and people don't really put *that* much thought into links they click, just that its a site they recognize. As soon as they see "Amzn" its disarming to them.

u can add those but make sure aff site can ignore them..

You can use cloaking plugins as well for eg: prettylink or thirstyaffiliates in general but for Amazon I suggest you to get Easy Azon plugin which will ease the process of adding links plus lots of functionality

I would just use a shortener like bitly or something similar.
I don't really think you can do what you need to do

Better solution is using url shortner

bit.ly dedicated amzn.to especially for amazon url's. Just enter your amazon url and bitly.com you can get shortened amzn.to

some people see tag or ref and they don't like it, any other links you can add instead of either of these ?

or can you add a lot of extra text to the amazon links so that they blend in with the rest of the text

If you use WordPress, try to use GoCodes plugin. Now you can mask your link as yoursite.com/go/amazon or yoursite.com/reccomend/amazon.

i dont think amazon allow that, any text you can add before or after the amazon links so their less obvious?

adding keyword in associate link is not a bad idea, but it's much better to use bitly easy to use and monitor..

Is it possible to add text to the link without causing it to become unrecognized as your own associate link?
