does anyone know how to make a video seem like a new video to youtube but the video is a repeated upload ive heard you can do this

I shave a second or two off the end and change the title a little. Working good so far.

Simply change the format of the video (re-encode it).

You don't have to change anything at all.

Here is how YouTube "Thinks" > New Format = New Video

I think YouTube currently allows video uploads from 8 different video format types. That's 8 times you can upload the same video without having to change anything except for format.

Add in a final screen that says something like "Get more information at www.yoursite.com" (i always include an arrow that points to the link in the description as well).

For each upload, vary the length of time that this final screen plays. I keep music playing on it as well. I've done this for as little as 15 seconds to up to 3 minutes or so.

Also, upload the video in different formats using different file names. For example the first video will be 2 minutes long and be titled "bluewidgets.flv" and the next will be 3 minutes and be titled "widgetstuff.mp4"

Switching stuff around like this will allow you to use the same video pretty much an endless amount of times.

thanks for all the info i really appreciate the effort
im going to do that stuff ive been making about 1 hundred new mini videos a day with windows moviemaker

i downloaded win avi video converter and it seems to be working good thanks again it was hard to make so many videos everyday

do you think if i convert a window movie file to avi then the same avi to windows again is it a new video again?

just make sure the thumb picture is different too. if it looks similar or identical to other vids you will turn people off instantly.

Ok great suggestion but with the recent changes at YT the middle method doesnt work any more if anything getting a thumb of choice appears to be a random affai:)r.

true but better a random affair than the same thumbnail pic.:)

what works for me is adding a long thumbnail with your website at the end of the video then you can just cut it and make it shorter until you have the amount of videos you want, or you can add a picture in the beginning...good luck
