Making the application (programming) is the easiest part... The main questions are --> what kind of application,

Ahh well fuck.
My hardest part is programming.
Oh I got the monetization and promotion part down.
That's nothing for me, I just cant go tell someone what I want
or else they will run with it. Already suffered this once this year
while building a widget for Vista and Yahoo.

But if you are serious, i think every marketer who can should have a programmer on his/her side...

I have a programmer on my side who is very skilled. He has done facebook applications before, - although just for fun- and he said he is able to do any facebook applications, he can not see what can be so complicated.
So, if any of you have a brilliant idea and wanna partner with me on this, hook me up with a message.
In the main time, i am going to delete all off topic posts in this thread,-Diabolik and Kingdom- and keep the thread clean and open for discussion.

I'm actually in the process of some PhP and Javascript tutorials (Even though not required for FB Apps). After seeing your post Nick I went to the developer center on Facebook and your right. It doesn't really seem that hard to get one up and going. Although the nature of my applications are completely monetization based coming to me. I have followed Chickenhole's (Millnic Media) type applications but I dont see them staying around for long on Facebook. They are starting to really look at daily use and then determine whether an app stays or not.
However MySpace just recently launched their developer platform and with the money I made there last year, it's demanding attention to look at.

No, i turned down the super mod position, i am just a mod now.
About calling you out for no reason, i did not get that. I deleted yours and Kingdoms posts cause your quarrel was off topic and against forum rules. I did not give any infraction for that, -perhaps i should have. The thread is now clean for discussion about facebook applications, no more offtopic posts.

Nick Flame, nice work, anyone who questions you should be brutally punished...
We're trying to find something that we can build into it such as toolbar in the example, which is proving difficult for us to find a more "reliable" company to do this with. Any suggestions would be most welcome.
We'll post code once we've done it so you can see how it was made and happy to advise with it. As a couple of people have said, it's fairly easy to actually make the app.
