Make $1000/week with little knowledge, but hard work

I was actually doing this method a few months ago with no success. I decided to try this again a few weeks ago with iPhone 7 cases but with a few tweaks.

Thing is i tried it for a few days and after that i simply changed back to $5.95 for the product itself and free shipping world wide. Seems like i get better results with that.

What my site offered was:
Free iPhone 7 or iPhone 7 plus cases. $5.95 shipping. Limited to 3 cases per order. Shipping world wide within 24 hours and a 5 day max delivery time!

What my results where:
1500 visitors
50 carts went to check-out and left
2 orders

Long story short, that wasn't even enough to get back my advertising costs and i scared a lot of people at the checkout process. If they did actually pay it would be a great conversion.

After that i simply changed the website to $5.95 per case, free world wide shipping ( also within 24 hours and 5 day delivery max ) and the second case for free.
Result: 3 Orders.

Other than that i do actually know some one who is having great results with a project like this. I am just not sure what i did wrong. I have to say i think my shipping is perfect? Shipping within 24 hours and 1-2 day delivery in Europe and up to 5 days world wide.

Just not sure why it wouldn't succeed. Hoped so bad that this would work :(.

Oh btw one big gamechager: if you are using a Shopify shop there actually is a app you can install and with it you can import aliexpress items with one click and also complete orders with one click on aliexpress. Saves you a lot of time and you won't have to use a bot. Did not fully test it though. Used the app to fill my shop which worked perfect but i closed it almost right after for a new project so i actually never tested the "One click order complete" function of it.

Good info, but inventory in the us would be better

A good method for people with money to invest for sure. Not so well suited for noobs.

No h8 at all.. but i like how you guys throw around making bots like its nothing.

Like someone who has no concept of it can understand someone whos been coding since childhood.

Anyways, i know some differ in conplexity but i legit have no idea how that chit works. So i imagine that would take away from the expedience of this method

If you want to get something but you can't make it yourself just search for some shit.
You can do this without knowledge.
For example: https://apps.shopify.com/ali ( This link has nothing to do with me in any way, it's just an example ).

With that app you can add / complete orders without bots but with a single click. :)

Point of my story is just search for hours if needed. If you really want something for a project it probably exists already.

Didn't know about this! Could someone confirm?

Just use Ebay instead of Ali, better support, better shipping rates, 100% refund.

And don't use bots.

Well, how did you manage to find a seller on aliexpress who is shipping within 24 hours? I think you did not even use aliexpress, right? Then how you were able to offer it for $6 and still making a profit?

Hm, so few orders, how did you promote? FB ads? I think target audience was not good. I also never had any success with fb ads.

Hi, i actually bought my own inventory. I order them in China and they ship by DHL if you order a good amount of product. I think it's worth putting 2.5K cases on inventory for as little as 700 EUR. I know there are a lot of people having success with dropshipping but i always try to get my own inventory. Did put my project on hold though until i find out a new way to sell. I won't just start a webshop with normal prices since i will be one of the millions out there selling these cases.

Oh well, I only used dropshipping till now. Putting €700 at risk is not for me. The thing is, there were only 1-3 orders per ad I had online, so if I do dropshipping it does not really matter, all what I have to spend is $5 or so on the ad. But if I spend €700 and then only make 3 sales, all my money would be lost. Ok, I can still put on ebay etc, but there are millions of sellers and it would take ages to sell all of them, also there is no profit after fees, postage etc

I run drop shipping websites via alidropship and can share some things I've learned which would make this idea work better...

1. Always use epacket...you can use yaros' tool in google chrome which is alidropship extension or use shopify extension to have it show you all packet items.
2. only ship to us of a. if you ship anywhere else for the most part you are looking at 30+ days for shipping which is just dumb. by using epacket in us it narrows it down to 12-20 days. i believe there are more countries which use epacket but am unsure which.

hmm on reddit this has gone for sure .... you can use coupon code, yes. but you can no longer say "free" and exactly this was what was bringing in the sales ... tried it now with coupon, but only many clicks but 0 sales

That was certainly a good read, thank you for sharing this!

The Epacket from AliExpress is really good. Although I had one seller offer ePacket and order still arrived 30+ days later. Kind of scammish and I hate it.

Thanks for the method. It's sparks ideas.

I can totally understand why you stopped though. I also agree it's not a method that I can be proud to share with family and friends.

Anytime I see the name aliexpress now, I run away like as if it was the plague.

In other words, using Aliexpress for dropshipping has lots of risks. The prices might be attractive but you need to be careful. I don't speak for all sellers but half the products I ordered took forever to come in, had shitty quality, and were defective.

What's even horrible is that most of the service reps pretend to be on your side when they are actually trying to fuck you in the ass (without lube). Don't get me wrong, in the past there were some really good aliexpress reps but for some reason, I have never heard from them again. It's like as if the good honest people who actually fight for unhappy customers were sent away to internment camps.

The worse experience I had was buying a relatively expensive product advertised as full grain cowhide leather when in fact it was fake leather. I bought it because I was thinking of dropshipping it. But after receiving the product, the leather was not cowhide but PU leather (aka fake leather). I applied for a refund and sent video evidence comparing real leather vs. the one they sent me. It was clearly FALSE ADVERTISING. I was then told I can't get a full refund unless I send the product back. I checked and the shipping cost half the product because of the size and weight (which I had to pay for).

I contact the seller to pay for the shipping, the seller was unresponsive. I explained my case again to Aliexpress claiming False Advertising and was "forced" a 50% discount off of the product by aliexpress, which is the same thing as sending it back. It's either I send it back or accept the 50%. I appealed but the appeal was denied. I was in a no-win situation.

So I lost some money but I'm glad that's where it stopped. It's a good thing I bought the product as a trial because if I actually dropshipped to several customers, I would have lost a lot more money and time and even get negative reviews on my site. A bad reputation on my site is the last thing I need.

Moral of the story, if you're going to play with aliexpress, you really have to do your research and test out their 'bullshit' buyer protection service.

As for me, I'm never going back to Aliexpress. There are better ones out there!

p.s. They should also change their name to AliSLOW.
