If you join cj.com there is an advertiser by the name of ourstage.com. This is a musician related website......

ourstage.com is payin $1 for each new fan that you refer to the site and $4 for each new musician... Now think to yourself.. How many ppl do i know that think they can rap, sing, etc etc....

1. Get accepted into cj.com if not already affiliated
2. Place ourstage banner on your site
3. Iframe banner
4. find a website with alot of musicians and email them
the email should state that you are an A&R scouting for new talent and you think that he/she has talent and you would like to help them get exposure or their music on the radio and provide them with your link and watch the money roll in.. There are hundreds of sites to run this campaign on....

Just a heads up.... Some campaigns will be short term, so the best plan is to plan well and execute.. For instance.... instead of manually emailing each musician try to get an internal msg bot made to ease the process... with a bot u can reach thousands over nite instead of hundreds manually.

I've been doing something similar, been using Myspace for some exposure, been getting around $80 per day from the one campaign, messaging around 500-700 people.

I use a connected account that uses an alias scouting company name and information in case they want to check on the purity of the message.

if u send 100 emails daily and all 100 emails are read that day im pretty sure u will break 100 easily.. be sure to target the musicians because thats $4 per referral....
 
did cj pay via paypal? i haven't signup to all cpa network because they didnot pay via paypal.. i hate check payment.. but i love big check payment :) lol
 
i dont think i was paid via paypal.. i think i got a check in the mail

just so you guys know... ourstage.com might deny you automatically so you can do wat i did and email the AM .....

Because the affiliate network will ban you for whats that word pratices in promoting as I found out myself with one Unkown00 Thing is you have to get approved with this advertiser and that can take weeks in CJ I waited before for a few approvals they take ages in CJ and then mostly your not approved if you dont have a good site or something

yeah, if u sit back and wait it will take forever but u can get an approval by emailing them directly which is wat i did....

It doesn't cost any $$ to join Commission Junction.

I've never paid anything to a program once I've joined it.

But TIME??? You have no idea how much TIME you will spend juggling accounts, banners, etc.

Programs/affiliates change their banners/promotions pretty frequently and if you just set up a site and the banner link changes...imagine what your visitors see. (An X in a box.)

You have to be ruthless with the programs too (just like they are in approving us). I've spent hours on a program getting links, emails, banners, sites set up and made ZERO. Others have paid well. If you don't start making SOMETHING in 5-7 days, drop it and move on.

It depends on niche, competition, traffic...nothing new there.
 
Not new for me. but this is really a good method, i've already used this last 2009 on CL.
What i did is scrape musicians sections by using craiglistharvester pro (you can find it here)

then send my reply..

my reply is same as the OP mentioned that im a talent scout and looking for musicians, another reply is act like you're hiring musicians for a certain company overseas like musicians in a hotel or something.

then what are you going to do is send them to a Identity offer and tell them that they need to verify first before interviewing
 
Application pending still NO affiliate manager address listed on CJ or main site I have a feeling I will be rejected as Im not in USA there is this thing I think about people getting rejected with thest type programs if not a USA resident I think I applied for this a year ago and got rejected

do you have to create a landing page or can you put the affiliate link directly in the email that you send out?
