NO BODY, NO GOVERNMENT, NO AUTHORITY, NO COURT, NOT EVEN GOD CAN BAN BITCOIN.

They can do the regulation of Bitcoin.
They can ban the USAGE of BItcoin, in some country.

NO BODY, NO GOVERNMENT, NO AUTHORITY, NO COURT, NOT EVEN GOD CAN BAN BITCOIN.

BITCOIN WILL ALWAYS EXIST.

If anybody say some Govt BAN Bitcoin, then that person do not know what is Bitcoin.
Govt somewhere can ONLY ban USAGE of Bitcoin.
Person not highly educate , like me, I understand what is Bitcoin and I understand crypto things also.
Many highly educated people cannot understand what is Bitcoin ???
There are even 15 years old school kids launching the legit DeFi crypto projects, so very complex.
But, highly educated people some, unable to understand just a basic of Bitcoin ???

TAKE THIS AS LEARNING AND DO RESEARCH TO KNOW ACTUALLY WHAT IS BITCOIN.
IF YOU DO NOT LEARN WHAT IS BITCOIN NOW, THEN YOU ARE NOT PREPARED FOR FUTURE, YOU WILL BE THE LEFT BEHIND, LAST IN THE QUEUE, LOST IN THE QUEUE, WHY NOT BE FIRST IN THE QUEUE FOR THE COMING FUTURE.

When internet come before, first many people had doubt, lack of knowledge about what is internet.
Now, same happening with Bitcoin ... BITCOIN IS THE FUTURE.
AFTER 5 YEARS I WILL COME AND POST IN THIS THREAD, INCASE BHW DO NOT BAN ME AND INCASE THIS THREAD STILL OPEN.
THAT TIME, EVEN BHW WILL BE ACCEPTING ONLY BITCOIN / CRYPTO, BECAUSE THAT WILL BE THE ONLY PAYMENT OPTIONS IN THE WORLD !!!

That's how this sounds. There is a sweet spot for how smart or stupid you should be to profit from things you don't understnad, such as bitcoin early adopters. To buy and hold BTC in the early days, you had to be insane, there was nothing smart about it. Forward thinking pipe dream that then became reality, but it can go back to being a pipe dream easily. I have said it before, if you really understood crypto, you would never bet on it. But it is ok to bet on people and their behavior, which is predictable.

I am commenting on the distinction you made between something being "regulated" or even "illegal", but remains in use because some people just want to have and use it, like it is some sort of victory. Just thought it was funny. CAPS were a nice touch. Those with economic power that can muster a military power, with a dominant cultural power, run the world. A stateless crypto will never be that, it was intended to curb the governmental influence on currency and it failed miserably at that. It turned into one more regulated, deanonymized (mostly) monopoly market where hype-driven investors get fleeced by institutions and whales. As humans progress, we use products that abstract away more and more underlying functionality of everything we use. We want to turn everything in a neat back box with a nice polish, so that it attracts as much people as possible, so there is no wonder that barely anyone understands how anything works anymore.

Let me correct you, ...... the right would be is ...... "it has misearbly failed upto now ....."
Some revolutions failed UPTO a point of time and then suceeded. So, for crypto, that time has not yet come, it will come.
But, anyway, I not going to discuss much, because it is endless and we will need years to discuss this.
But, your opinion is of value. We need to just wait for the future. That time you will ask BHW seller "Do you accept Paypal ?" and seller will say "What is Paypal ? never I heard that word"
 
Was there ever such a thing that didn't fail up to a point when it became a success? :D I am sorry to challenge you like this, I just think these talking points are more a coping mechanism and that you are trying to convince yourself as much as others.

Yes, many things failed upto a some point and then become a success. If I provide all like that details, then @BassTrackerBoats will have to do the major upgrade of the forums disk memory space.
But, it is OK, you are with majority , who are the sceptics of the crypto. We both will better meet next here in this thread after the 5 years and then continue the topic, till then I do wish you luck in your intermet businesses. Bye till then.

If you send to wrong address, then you did the something wrong, So, in that the case, you need to become "payment platform friendly" and send to right address. Bitcoin / crypto very user-friendly, it teaches (self-learning auto mode) on how to send to right address, after you do few mistakes. like a friend who will teach you to give cash paper money to the right Mr.A, not the wrong Mr.B.
If you send email to wrong address, you cannot get the email the back, it remain in the receiver inbox (or he delete it), but you cannnot get that email back, so what email is not user-firendly ?

You're getting it wrong.

If you send actual money to a wrong recipient, you could always get it back. But with Bitcoin (or crypto) you heavily rely on the recepient. Sometimes you could even send to a dead address.

For crypto to replace fiat in our everyday life a lot has to change one of those is the volatility has to change. A coin could be $10 right now and $30 the next day. Such kind of change is not economy friendly because economes rely on stability and predictability.

Another of those is the lack of regulation. It's almost like a free-for-all arena. It is actually not reliable at all.

Certainly crypto would remain here for long but it'll never become what a lot of people hope, unless certain things change. If they do change then it'll seize to be crypto.

I thinking you got it wrong. Comparing actual money with Bitcoin, is WRONG. But, anyway, you got your opinion, no problem. You are a skeptical of Bitcoin, that is fine.

You don't even understand what ban even means. Banning something doesn't mean it'll seize to exist. A member(@oldguyjoe ) gave you a fitting example using heroin. Is the use of heroine banned or not? Despite this ban heroin exist or not? Do people still use it or not?

I do have a few amount here and there in crypto doesn't mean I'll start parroting about.

I did compare crypto to fiat because the dream is that crypto would replace fiat in the future.
