major changes in yahoo and google algorithms?

has anybody noticed any major changes in yahoo and google algorithms? for the keywords that I used to rank for really high, I am on page 2 and after. Now these are not competitive keywords, these are 4-word and 5-word phrases. A lot of other sites that were also found with my site are not there anymore. Both search engines are giving a lot of results that are not relevant to what i am searching for, it is weird. I think I think I think both search engines are relying more on domain authority (PR) and less on keywords and anchor text and all that. want to emphasize again, i think.

I will have to check this out?

This can happen if the search engines are updating their databases?

yes on of my site went up 9th to 6th
