Majestic TF/CF factors?

Just a heads up, it will be different if you have http://www. vs just http://domain.com

The metric is comparative, it can make it a bit frustrating but combining TF with either ahrefs or DA has gotten me some awesome domains.

To me;

TF = quality/authority metric
CF = quantity/volume metric

Both are important but people tend to focus on TF more because it's harder.

Citation Flow [CF] is the quantity of links you have got for your site or your site got, and TrustFlow [TF] is the how much quality links present it. To increase the values you have to go with quality and relevancy factors.

Apart from the info provided above, I like to think CF as the number of links from article type of pages that are pointing to your site. The more article links you build, the higher the CF would go.
Pumping links from article sites do not increase TF. Trust as the name implies, is how trust worthy your site is, in which they would spend a considerably more time on your site, and there will be engagements on the site as well, such as browsing pages, and visiting the links that are on the web page itself, which contributes to TF. TF is difficult to fake, and spam links do not increase TF at all.

CF - Number of citations to a given URL or domain - strength of one single page like PA and basically the same as PR
TF - Number of clicks from a seed set of trusted sites to given URL or domain.

They obviously have their own algo but it shows authoritative links vs general links.

TF - the quality of backlinks and CF- the number of backlinks.
