Majestic is clearly declining?

I've been always a highly advocate of using Majestic for research both in my daily practice and the forum and have had some consistent results so far.

But in the past few months, I've seen really weird variances between Majestic and other tools that I want to comment now

Here, for example, is the snapshot of BHW for Majestic: 18



Let's see how this compare to other tools:

Ahrefs: 73

What's going on with Majestic?

They seem to have cleared up A TON of spammy backlinks and also they seem to be pushing a lot towards Citation Flow and completely disregarding Nofollow links

This could be interpreted either way:

• TF is now more of a greater polished deal, or
• TF is complete bullshit nowadays.

Here, there is no golden rule now. Take it or leave it.

I've been filtering out under 20 TF domains FOR AGES. Lately, I've been removing this filter, to check what's going on, to find really weird things I've been overlooking

And now I see, that, if BHW may have expired at some point, I would have also overlooked it!!!!

What are your personal insights? Have you found some deviations in the rule?
Is TF a thing anymore?

What are you using TF to asses?

I personally don't look at TF at all. It's all about referring domains, clean profile with no spam anchors, DR & DA.

It's great to use more than one tool at the same time because often times things like these happen, sometimes majestic is weird, sometimes ahrefs is. Having a "second opinion" gives you a better picture of the site/domain you're researching.
