I have a blog I started last year that gets ~100 visit daily and makes some decent change on Adsense. While expanding the site I discovered I need a complete overhaul and started a new domain and site completely (all new content and everything).
What I'm wondering is if I should just 301 the old site to the homepage of the new site? I know it's recommended to 301 page by page for the best user experience but I won't have same pages to 301 to... Or I could leave the original site as is (not getting updated anymore though)... Any major disadvantages for doing a 301? Thoughts? Thanks!
