Main CPA site manually slapped by Google, why?

Today I woke up, receiving an email from Google saying:

"Problems with spam at http: // xxx /

To: The webmaster of http: // xxx /,

Google has detected unnecessary content that adds little or no value to your site. The problem leads to results that are not relevant or are of little value for users of Google search and can affect your page's ranking negatively. Google has applied a manual spam action on xxx/. If you want to remove the manual action on your site, you need to make extensive changes to the content, so that it meets our guidelines. Then submit a request for reconsideration. When we consider that the website complies with our policies we will remove this manual action."

It was my "whitehat ranked" CPA site, I have barely built any backlinks to it and the backlinks I have built were not spammy. It was my main website which I have been working on for 1.5 years with lots of articles and hundreds of hours spent on. I was really starting to rank well for very high volume keywords and the future for the site looked so bright. I was so happy about it.

Today I got slapped and all my time and money I spent on the site went down the drain. All traffic from Google has been completely cut off, I only receive some traffic from Yandex and Bing, but it's very little.

I'm not creating this thread to get empathy. Of course it feels extremely shitty for me. But the reason I created this thread is to figure out why I got slapped and how I can prevent it from happening again. If I can't figure out why I get slapped then I have no interest in creating a new site which I put my blood, sweat and tears in and get faced by another slap again. It would kill me. Instead of crying about this all day long and not get anything productive done, I want to learn from this and move on with my next site and prevent it from facing the same issue as my main site did.

1) Did you use adsense on it ?
2) How long are your articles ?
3) Quality of your articles ?
4) what kind of backlinks did you create ? PBN ?

How long does it take you to rank your site on Google?

they slapped my game hacks niche PPA site after 3 months. i think its not possible to avoid cpa ban directly if facet a review. Most of them will ban you with no second thought. Even if youa re lucky to pass one, another one will ban u. Thats why for churn and burn sites that can get banned, quick blackhat linking is better

1) No
2) 300-600 words
3) All manually written in proper english
4) Around 10 private PBN backlinks bought around 1 year ago, no backlinks built after that

My website was also in the game hacks niche. The question is why did I get a manual review?

Is it possible some douche bag reported your site?

Are all the articles niche relevant?

What about rewriting the front page main article into a 3000 word masterpiece and see where that goes?

Private blog network links that you purchased? How'd you know they are private?

What is the action in your CPA?

Google recently announced they are going after deceptive content such as misleading download buttons etc, might be related.

Yes, some douche bag competitor could have reported my site. All articles are niche relevant. My front page was a game hack generator. The articles were on a blog under the subfolder /blog/.

The front page really is just spam, maybe I should try to rewrite it. But is it worth the time and effort? If Google has manually reviewed my website they should instantly see that it's pure CPA bullshit and should never allow it on their search engine again.

I looked up the seller's websites and thought it looked legit, good PA/DA and no spam score. Then I just trusted his word.

I used content lockers, no shady download buttons or ads.

I'd say someone reported you then Google just slapped it because it's a game hack website.

Sorry to say I'd pick a more legit niche for a long term website.

@OP if I was you, I would:
1. deindex the actual website (they have tool for link removal) to minimize duplicate content penalties chance.
2. put the same website along with posts on new ip and domain, then do backlinks.
3. Learn blackhat seo and keep your templates (of keywords,links,spun content, anything) in one place. This way u can easy repeat whole backlinking process.
4. Apart from step 3, If you maintain your tier 1(if not, then start doing it), then you will just put new post with link to your new domain there when u get a ban and remove the old one. Or replace the links in old posts. Repeat on every tier 1 blog.
5. Add shitload of related spun content everywhere on your site to minimize duplicate content to original ratio, and thus, penalties. Index that spun content but dont link to it as it reads garbage.
You can rank your website in a month to first page.

Ps these duplicate content penalties dont come instantly, you can rank pure duplicate content website before it gets taken down.

And the reconsideration requests are usually waste of time.

PBN should be the problem.
I would never use them again on my money site, only for Tier 1.

weird, i received the same email at 8:13 AM. they say "manual actions" then why our sites were slapped in the same time, my wasnt even reaching the top scores yet i faced a "manual review". my second site is dead. why would they check a site that isnt nowhere near the top? hmm

Everything you said at the start sounded like you didn't warrant a Google slap until you mentioned that you're in the game hack niche. It's a dirty niche, and it's well know that Google's consistently shuts down websites that promote such content - especially when you tell us that your homepage was that "fake coin/mana" generator.

I had a similar website, not game hacks but close to it, had the same issue and my main page was just a generator page.

My other site has been fine for months
