Mailer Setup? Tell me what you're running!

Ive worked with mass mailing and have a successful technique, but I am tired of using a php that can only handle 500 or so emails at a time.

This mailer also does NOT return accurate bounces or errors, there's nothing to the reporting.

I would like to hear what the successful mailers run or if anyone has a setup for a "n00b", let me know. Even if its forsale.

Id even like to hear scaling tiers if you guys have any say: started php, eventually moved on to Inspire.

If anyone wants to help me build this up, let me know. I think itd be an awesome resource if someone could just show a "recipe" for a successful mail system, the rest is up to your marketing skills!

Beyond Interspire, do you have any particular server setups?

And Interspire is a bit $$ though probably worth it, is there another option? Does interspire send the emails from their service or is it your software? Im curious because Im not sure what their IP rep is if they are sending.

Id prefer a mass malier that allows my content to inbox, but allows me to decide what i am mailing.

Interspire and PowerMTA should get you going. You will need a server with many dedicated IP. I doubt this setup is more expensive than the commercial setup
