MailChimp for past ebay buyers?

My supplier is currently thinking about using Mailchimp to send a few thousand emails out to past buyers from ebay.

Is this going to get him a ban of some type? How many will end up as spam?

Anyone have experience and can tell me the pros/cons of this?

My initial idea is it's not a good way to get targeted sales, but what do I know?

Mailchimp sucks and they will ban you. I suggest using the following

contactblaster.net
mailerlite.com

Is there a reason why those are better? I need to be able to explain why mc sucks to my supplier.

Use mailchimp and experience why they suck first hand. As soon as you have a high bounce rate from your list being shitty youll get banned. Contactblaster cleans your lists for free before sending. mailerlite doesnt clean your lists but they arent so fast to ban you.
