Mail forwarders for GMB verification postcard?

Hi guys, couldn't see a recent thread on this so thought I'd make one. Seems like making a virtual office and other such tactics are now updated.

How are people going about setting up a GMB page/receiving the verification post card from Google?

It looks like people are now finding legit addresses of real people and paying them to pass on the code - is this really the only way now?
