Magnetic Card Readers

Hi, I am not sure where to put this.

But I am looking to add a magnetic card reader to a chip and pin machine so when someone puts there card in to pay the details are recorded.

My guess is it would be similar to what is used at ATM machines, but I would like more info if anybody knows any.

I had an old Lg smartphone that had NFC connectivity and with an app I was able to get credit card details but you had to be really close.. like REALLY close to the card

This smells like fraud.Wrong place dude.
