Has anyone used the MagicBot program? It pings your site to any site that you choose... I bought it a few weeks ago (it was $10 bucks).

Haven't really used it since I'm slowly learning these blackhat techniques. Would anyone care to share thoughts?

Its bullshit.
It sends pings. Thats all it does. There's nothing magic about it, there's nothing special about it, it pings your site. A million times if you want.

I can't speak for it's effectiveness in getting my sites indexed, but I can say it's done a helluva job in getting my competition banned

I'd recommend to do a search through the forums, because there are many posts about Magic Traffic Bot. Don't expect anyone to write again about it, once the subject was over discussed.

I don't know anything about the app ...

But, sounds like it magically makes $10 disappear from your wallet.

You can make up a page with links to the sites you want to ping, then send Magic Trafic Bot to ping that page as target url, crawl depth 1. Then it will ping all your linked sites.

Yea, I tried this out and it didnt work that well. Stay away from it. There are alot of free apps that do the same

I also tried it and it works fine after a thorough preparation. I agree, using free apps that do the same is a much better choice.

I'd be glad if you would post some links to any "free apps that do the same", and that would be very helpful to many forum members, too.
